At Pickering Creek Audubon Center, we celebrate sharing something of the marvelous every day of the year with the community, opening the eyes of people of all ages to the wild beauty of nature, the sense of belonging to the bigger yet fragile natural world, and the intricate web that connects us all.
Join us as we celebrate Something of the Marvelous with a generous gift to this year’s spring challenge. Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar up to $60,000 in support of the environmental education programming of Pickering Creek.

As a special thank you for being part of the Something of the Marvelous Challenge, you will be invited to explore the historic grounds and a portion of Myrtle Grove, home of the marvelous Herbert & Patrice Miller on June 6th. 
Donors making gifts of $250 or more to the dollar for dollar matching challenge will receive two reservation spots and donors making gifts of $125-$224 will receive one reservation spot. You will receive a link via email to make a reservation for the time entrance of your choice between 3pm and 6pm to explore the gardens on June 6th (Space is limited).
 
The fair market value of each reservation spot is $30.

As a thank you, you will be invited to visit the home and grounds of
Myrtle Grove on June 6th

Guests will enjoy the natural beauty of the wooded grounds   Enjoy a glass of wine while stepping back in history while strolling the through one of Maryland’s most historic homes. 
 
*Please wear sturdy shoes, the walk is across uneven ground and surfaces. Golf cart transportation is not provided.
