Wheelchair Accessibility

The mulched foot-trails through the wooded areas are not wheelchair-accessible on account of roots and erosion control measures; however, the grassed trails off of the main parking area may be accessible for some. Fairly good birding is possible from the main parking area and from the car along the single lane gravel driveway, as the edge habitat those areas provide is frequented by plentiful Indigo buntings, orioles and more. There is some water view available from the backyard of the main office area at the waterfront. Access to the dock at the waterfront is difficult for the mobility-impaired.
Benches are located along the farm lane and through the woods for any walkers in need of a rest.

The outdoor portable restroom is not handicapped-accessible. However, an indoor handicapped accessible restroom is available during scheduled and staffed programs or staff-led birdwalks.
